What we will answer

• Corrections. A dated spec, street price, or photograph that no longer matches the manufacturer page. Include the URL on this site and the manufacturer page you checked.
• Affiliate programs. Impact, Awin, or a brand partnership manager with a real tracking URL. We paste IDs into src/affiliates.json and netlify.toml. We do not invent click IDs in email either.
• Press and reprints. Short quotes are fine with a link back. Do not scrape the catalog into a “top 50 solar generators” roundup.
• Scope questions. If you want rooftop solar, Tesla Powerwall, or an installer lead, we will point you off the site. That is the product.

What we will not answer

• Warranty claims, firmware bugs, or “why won’t my fridge start.” Write the brand. Start at Jackery, BLUETTI, or Anker SOLIX.
• Permit, gas-line, or transfer-switch advice for a specific address. Hire an electrician. Read the generator buying guide for the order of operations, not a stamp of approval.
• Coupon codes we have not published. We do not keep a secret stash in this inbox.
• Guest posts about “energy independence,” crypto miners, or roof-mount kits.

How to file a spec correction

Named SKUs on this site are locked to manufacturer pages dated in src/products.json — currently August 26, 2026. Jackery, BLUETTI, or Anker SOLIX moved a watt-hour, an inverter rating, a weight, or a street price? Send four things:

1. The SKU page on this site (example: Explorer 2000 Plus).
2. The official product URL you used.
3. The field that moved (capacity, output, surge, voltage, weight, expandability, street price).
4. A note if the manufacturer now lists a number we left blank — we leave surge and Voc empty when the live page conflicts or is unclear. We would rather show an em dash than invent a peak watt.
